I do leather work in addition to turning pens. I have been buying all kinds of magnets to hold down the flap on my phone cases. When I purchased these, I explained to the lady what I was using them for and she told me they would hold through rather thick leather. Man, was she right! These are the strongest magnets I've ever seen. Simply amazing!
