Portable machine dust collection solution

My "shop" like many of us is my two car garage. When I am not working I even get the car in. So all my machinery is on wheels. The QuickKonnex system is perfect for me. I fastened the female adapter to my blast gates by drilling and tapping for rhree 10-32 screws for stability. I attached another to each of my machines. Then I made up hoses using two male adapters and an 8' section of very flexible hose (item D08C). I position my machine whereever I want to use it and just plug the dust collection together. When I need to use 2 1/2" hose a 4" to 2 1/2" hose adapter is a stuff fit into the 4" female adapter and away we go. The 8',4" hoses squish down to about 18" for storage. A perfect dust collection solution for me.
