I have been using DC3 blowers for 12 years. I use one on my laser engravers and another on a sandblast cabinet. They're probably not designed for the abuse of sandblasting but it works great and the replacement parts are available and reasonable. I've been using one for 12 years to exhaust smoke from my lasers and haven't touched it. I have a third one that I use for different things like drawing out dust or contaminated air in the shop. It's quieter than others you will find.

I have a little older version made in 2000. The good.. Sound level is good and it's solidly built and can be wired for 220. Compact design. The bad.. Very poor air movement for the price of the unit. For over twice the cost of a large roll around bag unit from a popular tool importer I won't name I had hoped for better performance.

I'm using this unit on a 3hp cabinet saw, 12" radial arm saw, bandsaw and planer, and it does a great job.

I built my own dust collection system around this outstanding blower fan. After fabricating blastgates and ductwork (all made of wood) my wood shop machinery is tied in to the system and sawdust is no longer a problem. The fan motor is in its own exterior wall "doghouse", isolating both noise and dust from the shop - eliminating the need for a filter bag. The result is a clean shop. This 1 1/2 hp motor is quite powerful and exceeded my expectations. Delivered quickly and in perfect condition, this very robust, quiet, and well designed fan blower is surprisingly compact and sure to deliver years of a cleaner shop and clearer lungs, all for an outstanding price. A first-rate product in all respects! Mannie Gentile Victory Wood Working

Let me start with so far so good! I ordered the blower and received prompt delivery. When I opened the box I found what appeared to be a well made and attractive piece of equipment. So far I am extremely happy with my purchase. It appears that it is doing the job and I like the quality of the blower.

I purchased the DC3 to build my own cyclone dust collector to the Woodstore.net plans and I'm very pleased with the results. It's relatively quiet and performs well.

I purchased this fan rated at 850 cfm to replace a one-half horsepower fan rated at 350 cfm in my cyclone dust collection system. The new fan collected less debris and dust than the old fan rated at less than half of the new fan. I returned the new fan.
