PSI 1.5 HP Dust CollectorIn general I am very pleased with the PSI dust collector. The 1 micron bags and 1.5 HP motor give you a dust collector which provides great dust collection at the tool with little airborne particle escape from the bags. Assembly of the collector was simple and completed within an hour. The packaging the collector came in was somewhat damaged but there was no damage to the collector itself. The only negative with the collector is the wheels used on the base. They are small and it is sometimes difficult to roll the collector easily into position. For the price I can't see how you could do any better than the PSI 1.5 HP Dustroyer.

Great Machine!Great machine. Easy to put together, Sucks the dust up no problem. It has really become an asset to my shop. The only reason it didnt get 5 stars was because there were no instructions with the machine when I got it.

Just a tad bit moreThe dust collector works as advertised. I use one port for my table saw and the other port for all the other dusty machinery in my shop. It made a huge difference in the amount of dust circulating thoughout the. The only thing that brings this unit down to 4 stars vs 5 is that there were no assembly instructions included with the unit. Having said that, it went together fairly quickly without them.

DC2V3 “Dustroyer” Dust CollectorHave bought Psi tools before so when it came time for a DC I started to look and Liked the DC2V3 specs. Order and shipped fast, very well packed, took about an hour to put it together, construction very good and install instructions easy to follow. Has a great draft and not to loud. Just bought the 110 volt Psi remote for it from Amazon. No more sweeping up saw dust and the air looks a lot cleaner after a lot of cutting.

1 1/2HP “Dustroyer”I am very pleased with this product. This is the first dust collector for me and I've used it in table sawing, routing, band sawing and sanding applications. The product came well packaged and complete. The only thing that would have let me give it five stars was that the casters are not the best and I would have liked to have used nylock nuts.

Had one for yearsThe unit works great. Easy to convert to 240V. I would strongly suggest having a good air compressor to blow the dust out of the filter from the ouside. The paddles work, but not all that great. Also the switch location on the bottom of the unit is a poor design. Make sure you run weather stripping around the bottom of the unit before attaching the plastic bag, or it will leak dust.

Works well & is quiet - but some drawbacks1.When it arrived there were no support poles for the collar or bags. Had to wait for them to be shipped. 2. The instructions are very poor. The illustrations didn't help and the part descriptions were hard to understand. 3. The allen wrenches which were supplied do not fit ANY of the screws shipped with the collector. 4. One of the castors doesn't roll smoothly at all. 5. It is too tall for my eight foot ceilings so I have to figure out a way to hold the bag on the ceiling. OTHERWISE it works very well and is VERY quiet. I especially like the way it allows you to see into the lower bag for emptying.

Happy with purchasePros: suction, relatively quiet, well balanced blower wheel has minimal vibration, components went together without the need for field modification. Cons: Assembly instructions poorly written. Some steps completely missing.

1.5 HP DC- Good unit, good valve, well pleasedPurchased this unit about a month ago & I really like it. Packaging was substantial & DC arrived in-time and in good shape. Although I haven't tried powering up multiple machines, suction seems to be pretty good. Assembly was fairly easy. Pro's- the unit is surprisingly quiet, my uninsulated shed is in the backyard and I don't think the neighbors will complain when I run it late. Dust collection, though relatively new seems to be good. Impeller seems to be well balanced. Cons- My only complaint is that it is not possible to relocate the switch and in my shop, this places the switch in a difficult location to access. All in all, I'm very well pleased. Good job Penn State!

DustroyerThis is my first dust collector other than a Shop Vac. I am pleased with the unit to this point. I use a Ridgid TS and connect to the saw outlet with the Shop Vac adapter and hose. It takes most of the debris created by the saw. The collector does very well with the fine dust from sanding. I used to be covered in dust after finishing a sanding project. My only beef is with the set up instructions. I feel they could be done much better as far as description of which screws to use where etc. I do not have any experience with any other brand of DC, but I find this machine to be very good at providing good dust control for my evolving woodshop.
