To finish out a dust collector vacuum. I got one of the lids for a 30 gallon trash can so I could set up a two stage dust collector. I ran a piece of 4" on both sides of the lid and then put this reducer in so I could put a 10' piece of 2 1/2" hose for my vacuum attachments. I can clean up around my lathe, jointer, bandsaw and drill press without having to haul around my shop vac. Works great.

Worked great after a little duct tape shim and a set screw.
