Extension System

System works. You need and 16" swing lathe to use them without cutting. The gear chuck key is too large to use with the Barracuda 3000C chuck without grinding it down. Even then it doesn't work well. The extra holding knobs are great. Need to tighten well however.

I have used these extensions and was quite pleased with the versatility they allow. The various included pins will do about any job. I can't think of anything I would change.

Just what I wanted. They work great. They fit my small jaw just perfectly. Good but. Thanks to you staff for this: There was a problem with the key, it would not fit the chuck. I called and the problem was solved very quickly., so thanks to you staff. Great jot.!

BIG BOWLS

THIS WORKS GOOD BUT YOU Have to check to make sure the screw tight AFTER USING FOR A SHORT TIME .

This has been a super addition to my bowl turning setup. I am really happy that I got the entire set as the extra mounting pins and the longer chuck key have been really helpful. In fact I now use the new chuck key instead of the old shorter one. My lathe has a 12 inch swing and I use this to turn bowls with edges up to ten inches, a major improvement over the regular flat jaws. I had some trouble cutting the set down to fit my lathe and I wish they had put cut lines as you can't cut on the lines drawn because of the metal inserts. I think you will really like adding this to your shop.
