I just got this lathe last month and have been making pens and pencils ever since. I've never used a lathe before and I really like it. It runs smooth and quiet, and the cast iron construction makes it very stable, yet is not too heavy for me to move when needed. Making pens is simple, fun and impressive! I'm very happy with it - works great.

I've had my Carba-Tec Mini Lathe for over 6 years. I've turned over 600 items and it still runs great. I'm planning on buying a second one soon.

I have owned the Carba-Tec Mini Lathe for more than 2 years. It still runs as good as new. If it was destroyed some how today, I'd buy another one tomorrow.
