3 piece Tool Rest set for Full Size Lathes - 3/4" post

These heavy duty Tool Rests provide you with vibration free turning. The set includes: two radius Tool Rests for inside hollowing and exterior wood removal. They also enable you to position your chisels close to the work to eliminate vibration while turning. Suitable for bowls from 10" dia inside to 16" outside.

Set Includes 3 Tool Rests:

•5" radius with 1-1/4" x 3/16" thick bar
•8" radius with 1-1/4" x 3/8" thick bar
•12" straight with 3/4" diameter bar
•Tool Rest post: 3/4" dia 4" long

These tool rests are constructed beautifully of good materials and are really solid. The only problem is that they are a few inches too short to make them of any real use in my "full size lathe" which they were designed for. So after I pay to have some extension posts made I have no doubt that I will absolutely love them and get years of service out of them. But until then...

OK I guess but are too short for my lathe and that of most of my friends. You can't get them high enough for the tight spaces or most close-in work. Before buying make sure the'll work on your lathe.
