This is the best one I have found, 1 additional step would be to use 2 nuts, 1 as a locking nut to thread on the stopper end to be able to thread the screw insert into the turned piece, it's easier to use an end wrench than to try to hold the metal stopper to get the screw insert into the wood, then simply back off the locknut...

The brilliant gold color is perfect for the colored grain stopper blanks as well as other dark woods that I've used. The vintage design adds a classic touch to the pieces when I finish them. Everyone that has seen the finished product loves them!
