Highly recommend white tubes.

The blank itself is an awesome color. It has tons of life and is not the least bit boring. I would like to highly suggest using white tubes with this blank. Even on thicker pens, the translucent spots show the tube pain as day. Unless you want the brass color showing through, use a white tube. Enjoy..

Its Not Plain Vanilla

This is one blank I always have on hand. For those who like a white pen of white accents this is really a nice choice. White but not boring, fancy but not ostentatious.

Needs to be seen

The picture in the catalog doesn't do this white pearl justice. There is much more color and life in the material that is very attractive. The blank is a little translucent. If you are making a thin pen you may want to consider a white tube

It's round, not square

When ordering the pen blank make sure that you understand that it is round. I wanted to use one of the blanks for a project other than a pen and with the measurements given as 3/4" x 3/4" x 5", I assumed the blank was square and was very surprised that it was not. The blank itself does make a pretty pen, however.
