Besides the copper, this is my favorite finish for basic pen kits. It has a mirror-like finish but yet is that dark metal which is especially nice for giving to guys. These make a really sharp finished pen.

This is a great pen kit. It's economical and easy to make. The gun metal plated pen is very nice looking and the twist mechanism is exceptionally smooth.

Good enough functionally, but having difficulty finding applications where gun metal looks good. Will keep having fun trying and will eventually hit up a good combination of materials.

I love the finish on the gun metal. Out of 100 kits I had only one that was defective in the turning mechanism. I just ordered 200 more. No complaints from me on this one!
