Great kit, real money saver. Quality parts, only found one cap that was miss-stamped.

I was pretty hesitant at first about purchasing these. I am making about 30 pens before Christmas for the folks at work. My main concerns were with the gunmetal and copper finishes. I have to say that I like the gunmetal pens the best. Ash or Birdseye Maple work really well with the gunmetal finish. You just have to find the right type of wood to compliment each shade of metal. I would like to have had more of the chrome or gold instead of the copper though. Just my preference I guess.

I like this kit because it gives me different finishes. This kit also gives me the choice of using these different finishes according to the type of wood I use. The price is right and I am very satisfied with your product.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these "discount" kits. The plating seems solid and uniform. The variety packs is a nice chance to try different finishes with different woods. I'll definitely be buying some more.

I have made many of these pen kits and have always been satisfied with the kits. I believe that this is one of the best priced pen kits and great for those people who want to learn and make custom pens before they step up to the more expensive kits.

My wife and I just started turning pens. With this product we both were able to successfully learn to turn pens well enough that we gave several to friends and family for presents.
They are great. Easy to use and I get to spend a lot of time in the shop thinking up new designs.
These kits are of very good quality at a very good price

I bought one of these sets and went back to buy twenty more kits of each finish. Perfect for a beginner who needs to turn a lot of pens for practice and to learn the ropes of pen turning...easy to install and very attractive. Some of my pens are beginning to take on a very professional look as my Dad would have said "look like they were done by a regular pen maker".

After reading the reviews on the Funline pen kits I thought I would give them a try. But Ill be the first one to admit I was skeptical of how good of quailty they would be. Boy was I pleasantly suprised when I saw them they look like they should cost twice as much! Every customer so far has complimented how beautiful these pen kits are. The gun metal seems to be the favorite. And as the other reviewer said the cost helps you to keep prices down so your pens can appeal to the masses. This is a great product and worth every penny. THANKS Penn State:):):):):)(five stars or smiley faces for this product)

We make pens for fun, and because of the number of kits we use we where using the value priced kits found elsewhere on the internet. We where happy to see this new line of kits from Penn State. The quality is much better than other value priced kits ( almost as good as the standard Penn State kits). We have already used up our first order of 45 kits, and will be ordering more soon.

I have been making Slimline Pens for years and have enjoyed the pen kits and so have my customers. I sell my pens by word of mouth, and have a couple of persons that buy in bulk and then they sell for a profit. I try to keep my prices as low as I can in order for them to make a profit. I do the same with the Funline series which you have recently introduced. I like these better than the regular series due to the fact of the different colors and the design of the clip and the center design. Many of my customers have complimented on the colors and the design, I ordered 2 packs of the 30 pens. This new hardware goes especially well with the Dymondwood. Keep up the good work and good service, I will be ordering in the future and I defenitly will remain a customer.
