Very easy to work with and very easy to complete.
I would highly recommend this pen to anyone wanting to build a keepsake pen.
The majestic pens are beautiful and a little expensive but the quality control leaves a lot to be desired! The diameter of the tip next to where the cap screws on has been too large. When you try to screw the cap in place you either feel a lot of resistance or it won't go on at all. I have purchased several of these fine pens and by interchanging the parts I managed to get them all to work but one. This tells me that more than one peice is out of tolerance.

I was extremely pleased with the quality of this pen kit. Everything was first quality and everything fit together perfectly. The weight and brilliance of the finish are outstanding. I have since purchased several more. Instructions are very clear.

Now this is a Man's PEN! Nice, writes easy and is very well balanced. A high-end pen that is well constructed, strong and sturdy. Adds that bit of class to your pen collection. NICE!

This pen is beautiful. People cannot stop talking about how much they like it. I am ordering more to turn for my friends.

This is by far the finest pen kit I have ever seen. The fittings are first rate and have no breakable parts that are common in most pen kits (e.g., twist, click mechanisms). My local pen shop has asked me to make this pen for them to sell.

When finished, this product has a superior weight and feel.

When sitting on a table in a room full of people, the Majestic pen demands the attention of all who see it. It compels comments by anyone who has an appreciation for art. It needs only to be guided to write very smoothly using its own weight to apply all the pressure needed.
If you want a unique pen, this is it. Big and bold with awesome accents. Can't keep one for myself for people wanting them.
This is a beautifully detailed pen kit that is easy to turn and assemble. Although it is the largest pen that I have made, it is well balanced, comfortable to use and most suitable as a "desk" pen. Blanks for this pen should be at least 1" square for the best results (I bought spindle stock and ripped my own blanks).
This is also the most expensive pen I have made - hence, my 4 star rating. I purchased (3) kits on sale as "presentation" pens, but the expense of these kits prohibits me from stocking (10) or more of these as I do my other pen kits. I hope to turn more of these as a "special order" item.
This kit with the proper choice of wood or acrylic pen blank makes selling my turned pens SO Easy! I use one on my daytime job and get so many compliments (and sales)!
The kit is beautifully boxed and the detail work on the bands is beautiful. The black titanium plating is inconsistent. Some areas on the bands are accented with the black plating while others are not plated at all. I expected a far better quality control on a pen kit of this price.
