The guardian pen is well made and a gets a reaction out of people. Whether it's setting on your desk or in hand.
This pen is not for every one, the people that seem to like it are people with arthritis and people with large hands. Although girls in the office like it at the end of the day when there hands get tired of the small pens. On a 3/4 blank you sure do not waste much wood. So it makes the pen heavy. Nice clicking action and writes very nice.
Cons or things to look out for. *It is not a pocket pen as it will unscrew and parts will be all over. *when putting together there is 3 things to pay attention to. First is to get the plunger and support tube in before top tube assembly. Second when screwing the tip on, You can pull the brass tube away from the coupling. Third there are two springs don't lose them.
Great Pen

Thought it was a little ugly and chubby but once I made it, I have to say it is really nice. Used it for Rattlesnake skin.

These are getting to be harder to find. When you blow a blank for whatever reason, and you destroy the tube along with it, these allow you to salvage the kit. More companies need to take a hint and start supplying replacement parts.

An absolutely fabulous mens pen. Stylish, but big enough for any man.

This pen kit is great for the larger hand of a man. It has great heft and the grips are stellar. Some of my customers are well over 6ft and this pen is not dwarfed in their hands. The Guardian is also wonderful for an arthritic hand. It is an easy to make one tube design.

I have made several pens for Doctors in the past. The Guardian Pen seems to have been the most liked by them. The fullness and weight of this pen lets you know you have a great piece of "eqiupment" in your hand. This kit is really simple, but well constructed. The rubber grips and the beefyness of this pen make it a pen for life. It is a smooth writing instrument.
The Guardian Pen is very popular among men. I made one for a charity auction at Christmas out of Bethleham Olive Wood and I could have sold a dozen.

I recently ordered the Guardian Pen kit because of the way it looked, big and easy to hold I thought, well all my expectations were met and then some. This is an awesome pen without a doubt. Easy to hold onto, a great writing instrument. Anyone who has problems holding onto the smaller pens will love this one. I love it and will recommend it to anyone with a need for a bigger writing instrument. Thanks PSI, I could not be happier with the quality of the kits and the excellent service.

I really like this pen kit, If you like big pens this is perfect.
I made 4 of these pens, three as Christmas gifts for co-workers and one for myself. A tiny bit of superglue on the connector will prevent the pen from pulling itself apart when you torque the tip and endcap upon final assembly

Turned this pen for Christmas present for my son in law. He loves it. It really makes a statement in his work as a CPA.

There seems to be a market among the more "mature" set to need with a larger barrel and gripper. This fills the bill.

This pen is something else. It's a real "Man's" Pen. It is has some real weight to it and feels great writing with it. I made mine with snake wood so it was quite substantial. The kit was a little overwhelming when I first opened it up and saw all the parts, but with a little patience and common sense it all came together. But do pay attention to some of the pieces; they do look similar.

Fun pen. A little complex. You need to follow the instructions carefully. I sell every one I make!!

I made this pen with Ambroyna burl and it turned out beautifully. No complaints. Everyone loved it and it was an absolute joy to write with, a nice smooth mechanism. I will be making many more of these pens in the near future.

This pen sure looks different from what else is out there and is a welcome addition. There are a couple of new click pens on the market, and they all seem to be rather good quality! The turning of this pen is extremely simple - a single barrel. It uses a std 8mm drill bit, so the wall thickness of the wood is substantial. It makes for a rather hefty pen - mine weighed 47g. The barrel diameter is the same at both ends so you can assemble it either end forward. The large diameter grip is very comfortable for arthritic hands! You need to pay attention to the length of the barrel when you trim the ends. This is the same for all click pens - most problems with click pens in my experience come from over-trimming, ending up with a short barrel and a squished mechanism that does not function well. No problem if you pay attention to the length! This kit is not quite as length sensitive as some I have seen, but there is not a huge tolerance either. There are quite a few parts to this pen, and since the assembly is a little unusual, you'd do well paying close attention to the instructions. The clicker functions very well.

An easy beautiful pen to make. Your turning will be straight across (I suppose you could get creative if you wanted.) The kit was complex, but overall easy to follow and not hard to assemble. Compare your parts carefully - some look REALLY similar.
