Excellent--this has saved the day. I make my bowls while the chuck holds the bottom and then turn them around and grab them with the rubber stops of the jumbo jaws. This gives me total freedom to shape the bottoms of the bowls.

For reversing large bowls to finish the pedestal, there are two choices, a jam chuck or something like the flat jaws. In addition to holding the bowl perfectly concentric with the axis on which it was turned, it sets up in no more than two or three minutes, as opposed to ten to twenty for creating a jam chuck to fit. Nothing else even comes close!

This is my first set of flat jaws as I am a novice turner. I have used them several times and they work very well on my Jet Mini. The surface finish is great, it adjusts smoothly and hold the workpiece well. Look forward to many good years of service.

These jaws really work great on my Jet Mini. It securely holds bowls so that I can put a nice foot on them. I cut off an Allan wrench and chucked it into my drill. This makes changing the pins a snap. Great tool!

I bought these jaws with several other items that were needed around the shop. I thought they looked like they may work for some bowls and saucers that were waiting in the dust for me to make some temporary chucks. What an understatement! These jaws are making finishing off bowls and small plates a very simple part of the turning process. Now I just wish that I had bought them with the Barracuda 2 chuck system I got last year. These large flat jaws just round out a very good chuck system.

Was very happy with the chuck that these fit, and needed these jaws as well. All in all a nice piece,... but I think the cost was a bit high,(almost half the price of the chuck),... and they have some SERIOUS weight to them. So it would have been "Perfect" if they were a bit less expensive, and a lot lighter in weight. Still a nice piece though, and I've had no problems with them.
